Lime Stardom? It’s not a new type of Jello, but the unusual yet intriguing name of my new apartment in the brand new Lime Stardom building at Tai Kok Tsui, Kowloon. The location is between Olympic and Mongkok stations and the neighborhood is “cottage industrial” – the shop floors of buildings around me have steelworks labor going on – but gentrifying as I see other new high-rise buildings under construction. As I face the pool and not the street, noise doesn’t affect me and neither does light pollution from any neon signs. Food options are good too and cheaper than comparable fare on Hong Kong Island. Thanks to Hong Kong apartments leader HomeNet.com.hk for helping me get the place.
